LIXI is running a series of workshops in Q1 2011, around the transition from current business practices to the forthcoming electronic ones.

Each year the LIXI Forum provides the lending industry with an opportunity to explore and share views on the new, innovative, competitive and exciting approaches undertaken within their collaborative business environments. This year was no different!

Between 20th and 26th October LIXI CEO, Erik Fenna and Director, Simon Libbis conducted a series of e-conveyancing workshops in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. They were designed to explore ways of enabling industry to improve business processes through integration with the e-conveyancing system and land registries.

Vocabulary Management Prototype: LIXI has been working intensively with NICTA on a vocabulary management and display tool.

The LIXI Evening Series event on Bridging the Gap to Electronic Conveyancing with "Incremental Value" - How the NSW Land Registry Transaction Services can improve efficiency in conveyancing was held in Sydney on March 30th and was very well attended by industry representatives.

LIXI is very pleased to announce that the document sharing working group has been opened for all LIXI members to participate in.

The formation of National E-Conveyancing Development Ltd (NECDL) in January 2010 is a major milestone for NECS.
Following agreement of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) last year, the company is to take the next critical steps towards a single national electronic conveyancing system for Australia.  This development has been acclaimed by all key stakeholder groups.

The 2009 LIXI Annual General Meeting was held on the 18th of November.

This year's Forum – on "Cooperation and Integration" – was held on September 9 at the Westin Hotel in Sydney. It was held at a time when the benefits of efficiency through the mortgage supply chain are now more pronounced than ever.
